Chuck is an action-packed spy show unlike any other in history. More comedy/drama/romance than action, Chuck is far for your standard spy show. Created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak, Chuck follow the life of what the show’s creators call the “average computer-whiz-next-door” whose name is Chuck.
Chuck is played by Zachary Levi, perfect for the part because he has the spy look but also the dorky cute look that women of the target demographic love. At the series’ beginning, Chuck gets a secret encoded email from an friend who reveals that he works for the CIA. The encoded email contains a special feature, embedding an ultra-top-secret collection of files in Chuck’s brain. Sounds weird, right? It is. And that’s why its wonderful.
Chuck: The Complete Fourth Season
Warner Bros. Television premiered Chuck on September 24, 2007 on the NBC network. Chuck normally airs on Monday nights, though season 5 (the show’s final season) will move to Friday nights at 8/7c.
The fourth season of Chuck is the longest in the show’s history at twenty-four episodes–the season was extended to twenty-four episodes after the show’s fans led a massive campaign to extend the life of the show into a fifth season. This successful campaign saved Chuck from a shortened (13-episode) season and extended the season to an unprecedented length.
